Cheteshwar Pujara is an Indian cricketer who has represented India in all three formats of international cricket - Test, One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I). He was born on January 25, 1988, in Rajkot, Gujarat, India.
Pujara is a top-order batsman known for his solid technique and ability to occupy the crease for long periods of time. He made his international debut for India in October 2010 in a Test match against Australia. Since then, he has become a mainstay of India's Test team and has scored over 6000 runs in the format, including 18 centuries.
Pujara is often referred to as India's "Mr. Dependable" for his ability to grind out tough runs in difficult conditions. He has been instrumental in India's success in Test cricket in recent years, including their historic series win in Australia in 2020-21, where he scored crucial runs in the middle order.
In addition to his international career, Pujara has also played for several domestic teams in India, including Saurashtra, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Kings XI Punjab in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
