Harry Potter is a fictional character and the protagonist of the Harry Potter series of novels written by J.K. Rowling. The series follows Harry's life as a young wizard, as he attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, learns magic, and battles against the evil Lord Voldemort.


Harry Potter was born on July 31, 1980, to James and Lily Potter, who were both talented wizards. When Harry was just a baby, Lord Voldemort, the most powerful dark wizard of all time, killed his parents and tried to kill him. However, Voldemort's curse rebounded and he was left powerless, while Harry was left with a lightning-shaped scar on his forehead.




Harry was raised by his cruel relatives, the Dursleys, until he received a letter inviting him to attend Hogwarts. There, he discovered his true identity as a wizard and made friends with Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Harry soon became known as the "Boy Who Lived" and became embroiled in a series of adventures and battles against Voldemort and his followers, the Death Eaters.


Throughout the series, Harry demonstrates bravery, loyalty, and a strong sense of justice, making him a beloved character to millions of readers and viewers around the world.
